1. Get Access
After purchasing, you’ll receive a private link to the interactive Phasmia map (hosted on Google Maps). No apps or complicated setup, just click and go.
2. Open & View
The map works on desktop and mobile. Pins are placed across the regions, showing the coordinates of each location.
3. Start Exploring
Tap any pin to get details - some will have descriptions or photos, but many are left minimal to keep the feeling of discovery.
4. Take It With You
The map is mobile-friendly and works offline if saved properly. It’s your low-key companion for exploring quietly, at your own pace.
Exploring abandoned places can be exciting and inspiring, but it also comes with serious responsibility. To protect both yourself and the places you visit, please follow these important rules:
DO NOT VANDALIZE OR STEAL
Never damage, tag or take anything from a location. These places are part of history. Even small acts of vandalism ruin them for everyone. Leave everything exactly as you found it.
KEEP LOCATIONS PRIVATE
Avoid publicly sharing exact addresses or coordinates. Keeping locations discreet helps protect them from vandalism, theft and overcrowding.
MAKE SURE IT IS TRULY ABANDONED
Always verify that a place is truly abandoned before entering. If it’s still in use, under renovation or there’s any doubt - stay out. Entering active property can be illegal and unsafe.
NO BREAKING IN
If the location is locked, sealed or fully closed off - do not try to force your way in. No broken windows, doors or barriers. Only enter through clearly open and safe access points.
YOUR SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Abandoned places can be dangerous. Be aware of weak floors, sharp metal, mold or other hidden hazards. Bring proper gear, stay alert and avoid exploring alone.
You are fully responsible for your own actions and safety.
RESPECT THE SURROUNDINGS
Be respectful of the area and any nearby homes or buildings. Keep quiet, don’t draw attention and avoid leaving any sign that you were there.
LEAVE NO TRACE
Take only photos, leave only footprints. Don’t rearrange items for photos and never leave trash behind. The place should look untouched after your visit.
By following these rules, you help keep abandoned places alive for future explorers and protect yourself along the way. Respect the forgotten and explore responsibly.
